Amani was born and raised in Indianapolis, she was raised by her mother until her mother married Amani's stepdad when Amani was eight. She was an only child after her younger brother's death when Amani was six. He was born with the birth defect Congenital Hydrocephalus (water on the brain). He lived four years longer than expected. His death directly attributes to Amani's appreciation for life.

Amani met her husband online in a chat room called Swoon. She moved to Missouri with him and together they have two children. After her divorce she met Nikki and briefly moved to Pennsylvania to live with Nikki before heading back to Missouri where she currently resides in Laquey (pronounced Lake-way). Amani says that the small town in central Missouri is pleasant and inexpensive. (However, I gotta tell you that the most interesting thing about Laquey is that there is nothing interesting about Laquey. I kept trying to scroll on Wikipedia until I realized there was nothing wrong with my scroll bar. Wikipedia says of the small town that it "HAS A SCHOOL, POST OFFICE, AND a ZIP CODE." ~I can't make this shit up.~)

Amani has always had an attraction to females, but it wasn't until she met Nikki that she realized while she enjoyed the company of men, when it came to relationships she was more comfortable being with a woman. Her autistic son had a hard time with her choice until he met Nikki, and now he along with her daughter and ex-husband supports her lifestyle. Her and Nikki are still in love and they are making the best of a long distance relationship.

Amani has been on Imvu for four years, she enjoys creating and dancing at 6th Stripped Leather and Lace. She joined 6 Degrees a few months ago and her upbeat disposition lights our rooms up.

While Amani was raised Catholic later in life she chose a different spiritual path...Paganism. When I asked her if she believed in God, Amani replied "I believe in multiple gods, I dont think there is just one. I admit I don't know WHAT is really out there, but I have faith that whatever IS out there has my best interest at heart and that it DOES make mistakes." Her favorite holiday is Halloween, not because of it's Paganistic affiliation, mostly because she get's to dress up silly.

Amani has an associates degree in Business Administration and Massage Therapy. She is currently unemployed but is always in pursuit of employment. ~Massage therapy? if you are ever driving through Laquey, look her up, you will recognize Laquey when you see the school and post office.~

I enjoyed talking to Amani for this short biography. Her positive outlook in everything is refreshing and humbling. Not once did a negative word escape her fingertips. I'll have a glass of what she is having, because it's always half
full.
