Roo acquired his name early in his childhood. He was raised by his grandparents and his grandmother
called him rew after his middle name Andrew, usually when he was in trouble. ~you know grandma
made those good cookies, roo couldn't stay out of cookie jar. Then there's the leaving the toilet seat up
incidents.~ His friends eventually adopted the nickname for him and "rew" evolved into "roo".

Roo was born and raised in Lee's Summit, Missouri, then he lived in : Germany, Washington, South Carolina,
Ohio, and Oklahoma. Two years ago Roo moved back to his hometown. Lee's Summit is located on the
Missouri/Kansas Stateline and was named in CNN Money and Money Magazine as the 27th out of the
100 best places to live in the United States. ~I hope he has a big house with room for 77 more, 6 Degrees
is moving in.~

Roo has been divorced for many years and has sole physical custody of his son, who he lovingly refers to
as "Mini Me". He admires how his son takes everything in stride, even things he doesn't understand.

When Roo's not playing IMVU or working or being a single dad, he finds time to enjoy baseball, track,
intermural sports, team sports, and mini golf. Baseball is his favorite, he played for 10 years before
breaking his ankle (shortstop and thirdbase).

Roo's favorite childhood memory is the first time him ever flew in a plane over the ocean, looking down
seeing nothing but blue skies and water gave him a sense of serenity. "i love water..ive been around water all
my life...always going to places with it...always islands, beaches, lakes, rivers etc...being so high in the sky, you
have a feeling of freedom...knowing that god made the sky, and made the river, knowing his power...the feel of
that freedom, looking down into something he created, from somewhere he created...its a moment of lifelessness,
knowing that exact moment you feel free."

Before his grandfather's untimely death in a car crash when Roo was fifteen he took the opportunity to share
some life lesson's with Roo. One being feel the fear but do it anyway, dont let fear run your life, never second
guess the person you make yourself out to be. Roo cherishes the times they used to sit in the garage on lawn
chairs watching thunderstorms and talking about the world.

Roo studied 2 years at northwest Missouri State to get his associates in science when he was studying genetics and
molecular biology....then he left for a year to serve a tour in iraq....came back got his associates in business, went to
devry, spent 2 years there and got his bachelors degree in accounting.

How did he become known for a fascination with cookies? "It started in basic training....we couldn't eat certain foods
obviously until ait training...so when we all got to our training site for learning our mos job, we had a throw down
of food and sweets and I ate about 3 bags of cookies in one setting and ppl started to call me roo the cookie
monster and then we all just sort of went from there with the jokes and cookie gags."

Roo spent 4 years after college as an accountant for the department of defense, working on the business side
of the military....paying soldiers, paying army commands and posts across the world, working in conjunction with the
FBI, CIA, DEA, and other government agencies. ~psst! I think he's a secret agent! It's a cookie conspiracy!~
Currently he's an accountant for a construction company with the State's Department.

When i asked who his dream girl would be he replied, "just a girl perfected to my standards". ~scratches
head confused like, can u break it down Roo?~ "A girl who's strong willed, perceptive, has her head on her
shoulders, won't back down from anyone or anything, no matter the consequences , respect given and earned,
loyal and honest and shows passion for her beliefs....has a dark naughty side but yet light compassionate side depending
on the mood of things lol...cares for her own as well as mine...one not afraid to step out into the unknown with me."
~ahhh a non-existant girl~

Roo will be retiring in Fiji, not even cookies could divert this plan of his. No one's complaining though as long as
he 99 year leases a place with lots of guest rooms. 77 guest rooms.

Roo also prides his collection of gnomes, 14 to be exact. Weird thing though.... he has no garden.
~as a wise man once told me some things are meant to go unanswered, I'm sure this is one of those
things.~

Our Roo is quite the complex man; intricate, intelligent, spiritual, humbled. An officer and a gentleman.
Camouflaged under all that humor and clever wit is nothing short of amazingness.
